Today, Snowtamom shoved Larry and Scottie into carriers and tooked them to the vetdokter fur checkups.

Mom wanted Scottie tested to make sure he didn't have no felv/fiv cuz he comes in the house ... and he is negatiff. The vetdokter checked him out and determined that he is a healthy, nootered male about 2-3 years old, with a natural short tail ... all of which SnowtaMom alreddy figgered. He was scanned fur microchip too (none), but the consensus is that he is indeed a lost pet. So SnowtaMom will furst contact other local vets to see iffen they recognize him, and then put up some flyers to see iffen Scottie's troo owner can be finded.

Larry had a good checkup too! He got his blood stoled, results will be back tomorrow or Monday, and we hoping that his numbers that was off last month was correckted by lowerin his hyperthighroyd meds. Larry still been hackin a lot eben after his depo shot a month ago, and the vetdokter was concerned. So she did x-rated pichurs of Larry's chest ... she thot he had hart purroblems or worser azzma or toomers. Good mews ... no worser lungs, good hart, and effurry fing else looks good! Way to go, Larry dude!

So we is happy with that, and hopefully Larry's blood tests will come back with good results tomorrow too!

well, the vetdokter called today with Larry's blood test results... not as good as we'd hoped. His t-four was on the low end of normal a month or so ago (1.7), so the vetdokter reduced his medisin dose by 1/3 since he'd lost some wate. But SnowtaMom knewed it wasn't good on accounta (Nikki 1999) Larry been talkin way too much and that is a sure sign in him that his level is too high ... and she was rite. Larry's t-four was 11.4 (!!), so back to 3 pills a day fur him ... guess we not gonna be able to get him on a lower dose eber. Cross paws that it get him back to 'normal' range again soon!

Holy cows...that quite a big jump back up. We furry sorry to hear that and hope that the increase back up will get him to more normal levels quickly.

We are happy to hear that Scottie is healthy. We hope that his humans can be found, but we know if they can't, Larry has good humans to look out for him.

So glad Larry's checked out okey doke too! Keeping pawkies crossed that his bloodworks come back good too.

ps. from mommy- Brad is feeling better, but the tablet for his runny stools that has to get mixed in his food has only worked for one day! Then he caught on even though he didn't see me crush it and mix it, and won't touch it. Sheesh, what am I gonna do? Mind you he wakes me up at 2 am to go kitty box, screaming in my ear.

Justin: I not normally meow dis but it more impurrtant dat Brad get da meowdicine him needs. Please ask yor mommy to ask dese queshuns to your v*t:

1) Iz it pawsible to get da pills compounded to chikun or liver or toonafish?
2) Ifn not, can dey be putted in a littletiny pill (or pills) dat can fit inna pillpocket?
3) Ifn no to either ob dose, can da meowdicine be compoundid to a topical form dat can bes rubbid into hims ears? Dere lots ob meowdicines dat can bes absorbed dat way.
