Welcome, Kahlua and Brandy. Sounds like you girls get along about as well as me, Cuddles and Calley, lol. The only thing that Cuddles and I agree on is that we don't like Calley, and she doesn't like us, either.
Even Sam would not have known us. He would have known the first generation of ZooCrew Kits: Whiskers, Minx, Boo, Patches, Tinkerbell, Misty and Mittens. Patches and Tinkerbell were the last two of the original Zoo Crew to leave for the Bridge. After Patches left, Tinkerbell rather liked being an only cat, but she always hated Mommy's little humangirl, Katie (your Mommy probably wouldn't remember Katie, either, she's just 9). She was already pretty old when Katie was born, and she saw Katie as an invader who tried to steal HER mommy, and she hated Katie with every fiber of her being. When Mommy heard about a family with 15 cats lost their house, she suggested to Daddy that it would be nice for Katie to have a cat who didn't hate her. He agreed and they took Katie to meet some of those cats. She and Cuddles fell in love with each other at first sight.
Cuddles is a two year old silver tabby Maine Coon boy who is totally devoted to his Katie. He sleeps with her at night. He thinks he owns all the litterboxes though, and Mommy has to keep disciplining him with a water bottle to make him let the rest of us use them.
After Tinkerbell joined all the others at the Bridge, Mommy was a total mess. She needed a cat. She went to the rescue that saved me. My name is BamBam, Esquire. I was at that rescue a long time. Nobody wanted me because I am blind in one eye. I only needed one eye to know as soon as she walked through the door that Mommy was mine. She sat down on the floor to meet all of the cats in the cottage, and I climbed right up on her shoulder where Tinkerbell used to live and purred into her ear that she was mine and I was keeping her. We are pretty much inseparable, and we are working on practicing to win gold at tbe next olympics for synchronized napping. There is another cat that lives here, but Cuddles and I don't like her and she doesn't like us either. Her name is Calley. When mommy lived in her old house, Calley's mom invaded Mommy's basement and had five kittens there. Calley is one of those five. Mommy originally found homes for all of them. Her grown-up humangirl, Melanie, and Melanie's boyfriend adopted the mamacat, Kizzie. Mommy delivered her to them in VA Beach. The girl who adopted Calley had two other cats. One of them was a feral who hid all the time and taught Calley to be afraid of humans, even her own human, and the other one was like Cuddles and didn't want to share the litterpans, so Calley hid under the bed all the time and peed and pooped all over the floor. The girl took her back to Mommy. Calley is better than she was before. She uses the litterpans again and is friendly with Mommy. She also likes Katie a little, but she doesn't trust Daddy at all. The only one she really likes a lot is Mommy.
