ME is the first and bettest of the two of us who now live here. MommyVal lost her Sam (the Monster Cat from H*ll) a/k/a The Sheriff on Halloween and she was so hurtin' from 2 days minus the big guy after 18 years she 'dopted me that Saturday.

Its not intentional, but from certain angles, I remind her of Sam; in fact she sometimes calls me "Sam" and worse - "he." I'se a she w/'tude, not a he. Humph. Or squeak as it may be. I'se not vocal like Sam was. Strange, not until Brandysnifter came home 2 weeks after did she start calling me Sam and he - guess cuz I'ze not the most gentle one of us. He he.

I spend the night half on/half against MommyVal's legs and make it really difficult for her to change position.

I'se got the softest, silkiest short fur and me eyes are blue like ol' Sammy's (red eyes in photos!) but I'se about half the size he was at his prime. I fit in MommyVal's lap just fine and she was SO HAPPY when I jumped right into her lap and made it my own that very first day. Sam was never a lap cat, but I can be.

I wormed up under the comforter one night, too, and curled up next to MommyVal's legs - spent the entire night like that under the comforter til morning, then I crawled up and laid against MommyVal's chest and purred for her.

Ain't I a grand cat? Wops if you don't agree, 'member, I got 'tude at times.
