Wierd Behavior

chikimonke Oct 15, 2003 08:41 PM

Alright, so I've noticed jak doing something a little odd, or, atleast I think it's odd. Inside his rock hide there is a section where it actaully has a small "rock" bottom to it. It has a lip around it, kind of making a "bowl" inside the rock. Now the wierd behavior is Jak likes to hang his head over the lip into the bowl, such that his neck is resting on the lip. Has anyone else noticed a similar behavior in their gecko? SHould I be worried about something, or is Jak just a wierd quirky gecko? Thanks

I'll try to get a picture of the inside of the rock if Jak lets me.

i don't think it's weird... my leo likes to rest his head like that on the small branch i bought at the pet store... he usually does that for a few minutes before he climbs onto it and just plops himself on there to take a nap~

Naah, I don't think it's weird. Mine does that all the time from his hide box, and sometimes he falls asleep like that. It's really cute!
