Thayeri and Cal King Questions

RAG66 Oct 15, 2003 08:43 PM

Just wanted to know if anyone would share any pics or info of your setup for your thayeri or cal kingse. What size boxes do you use for adults. How about substrate, hidebox and waterbowls and pics of animals and rack setups would be great!

thanks!!!!!

I don't do anything really special. I have tupperware tubs app 12x24 in. for adults, 4x6 in tubs for hatchlings. I use newspaper for substrate for the adults, paper towels for hatchlings. If the snakes appear nervous and want it, I'll put a hidebox in (I use the base of a plastic houseplant container). But usually, they just seem happy burrowing under the paper. My snakeroom is kept at 81-83 degrees. Lights are on a timer and alternate between 9 and 16 hours of daylight throughout the year.
