Kankakee my arse! No offense buddy, but that doesn.t look Kankakee to me. You sure that's not Kansas?

All of the Kankakees I have seen are much darker and have a different pattern. I could be wrong, but Kankakee is a pretty small locale and the animals do not seem to vary much.

http://www.kingsnake.com/pituophis/gallery_bull_page2.htm There are quite a few (including Chris') pictures on the page 2 and 3.

Hope this helps!

I bought a pair of bulls labeled as kankakees from john cherry. i have no doubt in my mind that that is a kankakee. did you also notice the poor quality picture. that color isn't what it realy is. here is another pic, sorry but this IS a poor quality picture.

I'm not sold on that being a Kankakee no matter who you got it from. I'm sorry if that sounds abrasive, but I stand by that opinion and I'd hate to see babies from your bulls get misrepresented in the future as Kankakee bulls to someone who is serious about locality specific animals, if they are in fact something else. Maybe someone could volunteer some accurate data with regard to scale counts and such to verify that what you have are in fact the real deal.
