It looks good.They are great,intelligent monitors that grow fast.My little girl "Sweetpea",went from 12" to 5' in less than 15 months.Males get bigger too.She often escapes her cage to check out the Kingsnake classifieds for a boy friend Good luck.

I was wondering what your experiences were regarding temperment while Sweatpea was a smaller size... Was she always easy going (assuming that she is now based on your other posts)? Thanks for sharing the pic.

It took a couple months for her to trust me.I spent a lot of time in the tub with her(she was calmer in the tub with a little water).When she was really small 12-20",she would go outside without any restaints and was never scared and wouldn't try to run for it.Very amazing for a small monitor.She has always hissed when picked up,but never anything more.She now is great,but still will give you a good tail whip if suprised by any sudden moves.She soaks in the tub every morning for an hour or so(still) and climbs out when she's ready.She always likes to climb up my pants leg and crawl up and sit on my shoulder while I go about my business.(she's just is getting kind of heavy for that.)Sorry for the long postShe's GREAT!

Thanks for the reply. The tub is also on my bt's schedule - it's become a regular point of interation. My bt is almost 24" TL now with LOTS of gusto. It's a patience game, but it sure is fun!

Heres my one BT/WT crosses after one month (got him from Proexotics), a Rob Faust baby. Hes 4 months old in this pic, and grew about 8 inches in that month as he was 16 inches long at 3 months old when he showed up. Hes now 5.5 feet and 19 lbs at just under 19 months old, hes been a sweetheart and very personable and handleable from day one. From my first BT I was hooked on Albigs.

Hes very light colored with black patterns now when hes not shedding, except the sides of his back. Hes 5.5 feet and 20 lbs in the pic but lost a pound recently because he eats less now as he slowed growing alot.

all wrapped up with cash lying about,LOL.
