A quick question .............

Travis12321 Oct 15, 2003 11:52 PM

I have a question. I am about to get an adult iguana. Would a
2 by 4 by 6 ft. foot cage be enough space for it. I would take it out for a few hours or so a day and let it roam. Thanks

I can say with all honesty, that cage won't be nearly big enough, esp if its 4' wide by 2' deep by 6' high. Tempest's current cage is a bit bigger than that and it is way too small for him, which is why he's getting a much bigger enclosure (finally done, being installed tomorrow night!!) Originally I thought that his cage would be ok for longer, it wasn't too bad when he came home with me last year (1 year aniv), but he's grown considerably, put on weight, and its just too small, even though he's out quite a bit.
