i was wondering if loud music has any effect on the sanity of snakes? because i keep my snakes in my room and my music speakers are near their cages. I know snakes can't really 'hear' but will the vibrations from loud music affect the wellbeing of snakes in general? because i've noticed that my ornata gets startled by sudden loud sounds from my music.

I wouldn't recommend keeping your snakes in the same room with your stereo. The vibration is probably unnerving for them. Just my 2 cents.
I keep all of my herps in my room, and dont notice any disturbance to them unless the bass is on full and the music is up really loud. And i hardly ever listen to music loud. I'm a death metal fan too, so they either dont mind, or they just dig my music taste 
haha..yea man i should train my snakes to dig my music too
