No special food will help change your beardies colors. With proper care including good lighting, etc your beardies natural colors will come out more as it ages.

with the proper care, your dragon will show its best and most true colors. things you can give them such as things containing beta keratine can "enhance" (slightly brighten an already orange dragon) their color but will not change it, best bet is a good varied diet ( check out www.beautifuldragons.com great diet information) and the best care and environment you can provide.

since you asked for a dragon and how its changed, carrick shows how much they can truly surprise you.......

WOW what a change! THAT is the adult color I want in dragons! Where did that one come from? And what "colors" were bred to produce that? It is truly beautiful!!!

she came from a place in michigan called Unique Exotics, her mother was a gold phase dragon and her dad a German Giant, the mother died last year so thats it for that pairing. Carrick was not the "average" baby from that clutch though, a bit of a diamond in the rough

Hi
i think why some beardies r very nice in color is main part genes some look like a coke can those r beauties.
you can stimulate colors also in normal colord beardies.
i have seen normal colord beardies changing in color after 2,3 month under uvb/uva lighting like a reptisun 5.0 very closeby.
you also can give a dieet that contain ,orange, yellow, red greens and fruits
those contain betacarotene and have a good efect on the pigment.
same as whe drink 1/2 liter carot juice and then go sit in the sun then whe get a darker tanned to.
byeeee
