dropped tail

my leo dropped his tail last night while shedding, i was wondering if i should be putting anything on the stump of his tail, and also if there is anything i can do to make the tail come back semi-normally... thanks for yer help

most importantly you have to keep everything in his terrarium CLEAN in order to avoid infections. you can dab some neosporin with a Q-Tip on the end of his tail too. it'll heal in a couple days and about 2 weeks his tail should be grown back... the thing is, it won't look the same as before... it'll be more rounded and not as pretty as is used to be someone on this forum has one with a dropped tail and it's on his website... i think it's Nick?

Ow, wow, poor leo. Do you have any idea as to why that may have happened? How's the humidity? Is the leo mostly healthy?
