In response to an aggresive male bopping, Waving means:

For a Male - I don't want no trouble man.

For a Little Guy - I'm a dragon too, Don't Eat Me.

and

For a Female - Not now I have a Headache.

he's a male, I leaned over to look at him on his basking wood thing, and he looked over at me and waved his arm in a circle a few times. Is that a sign of respect? Dragon's ARE that intelligent huh...
