It it possible??

Sahara May 28, 2003 02:53 PM

Hi guys,
Today I was cleaning my babies cage and one of them started bobbing its head to the other. I think they´re two monthes and my question is: can it be a male?? Cuz i´ve never seen baby iguanas bobbing their head, I thought only mature males did that. It was funny though that tiny ig bobbing his head to the other.. I think he was saying "Hey, what are you looking at?? You wanna a piece of me huh huh?! Come and get it!!!".. Ok ok, I´m outta here.

Head bobbing is in no way indicative of sex. My female routinely bobs a lot more than my male.

I second that, My female, Zok, bobs at things too. I know she is female because she has laid eggs.

Ok, thanks guys. I´ll just wait till they get older so I can tell who´s the male and who´s the female.
Later,
Dan
