He apparently had internal problems as well as the external. He was so cute in his odd little way.
But, the same day of his death, a new baby hatched. Maybe his little soul found a way to live on after all.

I'm really sorry to hear he didn't make it Laura... it's always sad when babies hatch out with deformities.

Sorry to hear the little leo didnt make it. I know how it is I had one this year hatch out that I didn't even bother waiting to see if he'd make it or not, I just took him to be put down, there was no way he could have had anything close to a normal leo life. 
It's really hard to see a leo hatch out with deformities.
