he could have a number of things including a resperatory infection. I would get your dragon to see a vet ASAP, to diagnose and treat the problem. let us know how you make out.

I agree, go get him checked out by a vet.

Cricket FREE babies!
His eyes water anytime he eats anything. The vet has checked him out before and didn't find anything wrong until recently when I asked for a mouth culture to be done. The results came back that Lizzy has a Pseudomonas bacterial infection and a light Candida yeast infection. His nose also runs from time to time.
I'd recommend getting a mouth culture done. They usually cost between $25 and $50. And it takes a few days to get the results back.
I hope your beardie doesn't have Pseudomonas or Candida - neither are fun to treat. But I'd get it looked at as soon as possible.

Beautiful Dragons
the problem is i dont know a vet around here that knows anything about reptiles
Hi
first respiration faulures come most of time because the climat is not ok !!
to cold and to moist !!!
110 under the hotspot where he can bask.
and round the 80 on the cooler side iut should be.
the humitidy must be between the 30-50 %
higher then 65 % can cause problems.
most of time they need baytril antibiotic.

Vet trip deffinitely sounds in order. However, some questions. What substrate are you using? DO you use any cleaners in or around your dragon's cage? WHen you wash his cage, do you rinse it really well? WHat are his basking temps? Do you suppliment (dust) his crickets? How old is the dragon? Is there any bubbling discharge around his nose, mouth?
i use sand as substrate and yes there is a bubbling discharge coming from his mouth sometimes... i hope its nothing bad
thanx
