What are the rules of bringing a couple leos from the US to Canada? It would probably be around the Detroit or Buffalo Border somewhere into Ontario. Just curious, thanks in advance for any help.

You have to go through all kinds of red tape... I think you need to contact US Fish and Wildlife to set up a meeting, etc.
If you get caught simply driving them across the border I'd imagine you'd get into quite a bit of trouble.

Odd... considering they're no rarer than some breeds of dog (and they make quite a bit LESS trouble); but I guess that's life.
I have lots of friends in CAN that come and go from the US all the time. One told me that sometimes they check and sometimes they do not. She told me that having the scientific name, if they check, is very helpful in the process. Otherwise there are no specific requirements for leopard geckos going into CAN.
It would be coming back IN TO the US where the US would be involved. I am checking into those requirements myself.
