Hagen Reptile Exo-Terra Electrodize***2nd posting***

velcro Oct 17, 2003 08:15 AM

***i posted this questions several days ago and got no response***

I recently bought some of this electrodize however, the directions aren't clear as to how much I give to my little guy. He is roughly 5 months old and is about 12 inches long.

Does anyone use it and if so, HOW?

Thanks,
Dawn

Electrod3ize
Electrod3ize is an electrolyte and vitamin supplement that:

Restores and maintains electrolyte levels
Prevents or reverses metabolic bone disease
Helps in re-hydrating stressed animals
Stimulates appetite, activity and normal behaviors

Electrod3ize replenishes the magnesium, potassium, sodium and calcium that are lost through forms of dehydration, particularly in stress situations. It also supplies D3 for proper calcium absorption and is especially important to supplement to herptiles that are not exposed to UV-light to prevent or reverse metabolic bone disease. While intake of plain water replaces part of the loss, intake of dissolved electrolytes replaces fluids PLUS lost mineral salts (electrolytes), all of which work together to keep a reptiles' body functioning properly.

Directions for use: Add 2 drops per 1 fluid ounce of water

Ingredients: Dextrose, Potassium Chloride, Polysorbate 20, Magnesium Chloride, Calcium Chloride, Sodium Acetate, Potassium Sorbate, Vitamin D3 Supplement.

Guaranteed Analysis per 2 drops

Vitamin D3 35 IU
Dextrose 7.5 mg
Potassium 0.8 mg
Calcium 0.2 mg
Magnesium 0.1 mg

There are also some directions on the bottle as far as 1 drop per oZ of water or 2 drops per 30mil.

From there just use a dropper on their noses.

Later.
