I swear.....at 26 almost 27 i'm totally losing my mind!!!

When i gecko is about to shed......will they stop eating before hand?

I know they won't eat they day they shed cause they just ate their skin, but Boo hasn't eaten in like two days. He did take a few mealies from me handfeeding him, he got all excited etc. but he won't eat from his dish, and last night i could hear him rubbing all over his tank. I expected to find him shed this morning but instead he's still under his clay pots rubbing his head, the skin is off his nose now. I've misted down his humid hide with warm water but he hasn't used it yet.

I've never seen him stop eating for this long....Once he does finish i'll try to take some pics....maybe the orange on his tail will show up more

Thanks for helping out. I'm just to stressed out to think LOL

It's not uncommon for them not to eat during the shedding process. 2 days without food is nothing to be worried about. Go ahead and relax he'll be fine.
