feeding question for house gecko - again

lele Oct 17, 2003 10:52 AM

Since the forum seemed to go off into a Tokay jag and I know not too many of you have house geckos or consider them as cool as tokay, leo's etc. I still have this question that got overlooked so I am trying again. Thanks

does anyone cup feed their house gecks? Mine are still young, in a well planted 20 gal high with Eco-Earth substrate, lots of cork bark, hides (low and high) and I am afraid the crix will hide too well. Any thoughts appreciated.

Seems like a great idea. I doubt they will have trouble finding the cup and as long as its tall the crickets wont get out. The only reason I dont cup feed (I have a tokay haha) is because animals that do not exersize get fat. If the food is in a dish, thats not much exersize. At the petshop I work for, we feed small crickets even to large monitors to get them moving around the cage.
