Do you think it would be too risky to keep redeye tree frogs with my phylobates?
np
ive heard that red eye tree frog could see the darts as food... so i wouldnt go for it.
Also, let's not forget that red-eyes tend to fare much better in an environment that should dry out more than a dart could handle without unnecessary stress. Often people will retort with...."red eyes can be found in the exact same locality as some dart frogs..." However, these people often forget that these two species live in two completely different microenvironments, each with their own humidity and temperature differences. The bottom line is that nobody could prove to me how the frogs would BENEFIT from a mix like this... Therefore all signs point to no.
Just my couple o' pennies
Back to lurking....
