Anybody use one that they think is "the one to use"? What about a calc suppliment? is there a good all-in-one?

There are so many brands - that I would like to get opinions before I go buy some. (right now they eat the t-rex diet, but I want to offer crix as well).

thanks all

you can use the t-rex leopard gecko formula to dust crix for Rhacs. It can be used as often as you like without for of vit. toxicity.

Adam,
I use a combo of miner-all I and herptivite. Miner-all I is given every other day and herptivite is given twice a week. Both supplements have been around for a long time and have been proven with many breeders, I def recommend them. The T-Rex diets are new to the market, so I will wait awhile and see how they perform before using them with my guys if ever. I also leave a dish of bone meal (calcium) with the females 24/7 during the egg laying season and it def makes a difference. Oh and I don’t know if you got my guide or not, but drop me an e-mail and ill send you a copy. Best of Luck.

Mike,
that combo and schedule works great also, but if you read the original post Adam asked if anyone knew of a good all-in-one. I gave my advice on what I believe to be just that. The t-rex Leopard Gecko formula is a great all-in-one supp. for dusting crix with. There are no mystery ingredients in it that can harm your herps. The fact that they are new means nothing. The products and ingredients have been extensively researched and tested(not only at sandfire), just as miner-all was before it was released to market. So will you not be using there new vit-all product until it has been out a while and "proven by breeders"?

Bill,
Yeah I know I was just giving some other options as the Miner-all/Herptivite combo is fairly common I believe amongst users, correct if I am wrong tho . I have read the ingredients list before so I know it is all natural and that’s great, sounds like a good product. However just like a new drug on the market I am going to wait before it is established before attempting it on my own gang if I ever do. And to be honest I am not a big fan of T-Rex’s products, except maybe their heat mats and I wouldn’t recommend something I have never used myself. I do have a bottle of the Vit-all, and I am not really impressed with it either, they should have made a dust. It would cost me an arm and a leg to feed the amount of crickets I keep on hand for my herps, so I’m sticking with the Miner-all/Herptivite. Guess I am hard to please, after all if it ain’t broke why fix it? .
