Hello everyone! I was wondering if you could please give me your opinoins regarding this panther. He is supossed to be a sambava, he is about 5 months old. What do you guys think he is? I have lots of experience with other panther morphs, not that much with sambavas....is he too small and that is why he is not showing brighter colors, instead he is displaying a darker/greyish color?

Well the barring looks like panther locales from the NE part of Madagascar, and Sambava would be included in that. My Sambava was very green at 6 months of age with some yellow/red/orange colors when fired up. So at this point only time will tell how he will color up, he could very well be a cross of two locales. Did you see any pics of the parents? Hope this helps!

Here's a pic of a 6 month old to give you an idea. He was asleep hence the colors showing.. His brother and father look amazing so hoping for the same for him..
