Experiences- Sulcatta Feeding - Suggestions

ambull Oct 18, 2003 06:48 AM

Ok, I've read all the recommended food sources for Sulcatta but now I would like suggestions of what they actually like?? I've had my boy (or girl?) for about 4 months now and so far this is what I have fed and his likes/dislikes.

Collared Greens- Loves it

Alpha Straw- Messy for me. He'll pick at it

Dandiliion Greens- He's not crazy about it but he'll eat it.

Yellow Corn Greens (or is it red corn? I forget which)- HATES IT!

So am I stuck with just Collard greens and straw??? What do they actually like to eat???????????

Thx!

collards, endive lettuce, escarole lettuce, yellow squash,
zuchinni squash, green peppers, romaine lettuce (don't give much)
turnip greens, mustard greens (a little, he doesn't like it much)
hibiscus flowers, and cactus pads (he adore cactus now, hated it
as a baby and wouldn't eat hibiscus till he got bigger)

Keep trying different stuff, they change as they get older too.
