you can feed her super worms as her staple diet.

be careful with those wax worms and make sure they're only a treat because they can get addicting and she'll avoid other foods so you MIGHT have 2 train her off them.

make sure she doesn't get too fat because she can have health problems over obesity. obesity can lead to respiratory problems, lethargy, constipation, fatty liver disease, etc. so please take care of her!

As long as your gecko is big enough to take them, they're fine. My largest girl, Geo, who's 45g now, has only been eating supers for the last month or so. I like that she eats less often & poops less often w/ them. They do have that shell, but there's a higher meat-to-shell ratio w/ them than with mealies, so they're actually getting less shell for the amount of meat they're getting. mmmmmm yummy!

buffysmom >> you took the words right out of my mouth i like your pet names by the way! they're cool beans

dragongirly >> just like buffysmom said, if your leo is big enough to take superworms, then go for it but, if you still have a baby leo or a small juvie, then i probably wouldn't recommend it because they're bigger than the giant mealies. also, i hear they have a good nutritional value and aren't as addicting as waxies! when my leo gets bigger, i'm giving him a meal worm & super worm variety diet~ the only thing with superworms is that they tend to turn into bugs faster than mealies do.. yikes! other than that, superworms are good enough to be a staple for your adult leo

Feed her big mealworms or superworms.
