From what I have read just because rainbows are from Peru doesn't mean they are gaigei. Are scale counts unreliable, or does he have a mix of both gaigei and cenchria. I want to hear what everyone else thinks...

Scroll down on this forum and you will see that we have had lots of discussion about whether giagei is a valid subspecies, the range of Brazilian Rainbows across northern Perus, scale counts, etc. I think I can summarize it all by saying there is plenty of disagreement about gaigei.
