Im raising my babies in an open wire coated cage in a 100% humidity climate (even more during the rainning season!) and they are doing great!

I'd say that if it wasn't, they'd be living in a greater variety of climates in the wild. Also understand that humidity is bad over time, not just something that's noticeable right away. I'm also a firm believer that nothing is "this is the way it is" with no flexability, and that Darwin wasn't so dumb. Though humidity is bad (did you say 100%?) who's to say that your's will be fine. ..between my uro and the others is that his skin is more soft, almost silky. Look at the photo. My URO Muffin is the dark one.I ve had him for one or 2 months. The orange one ive just bought and is in a very bad shape.

My cage is wire coated, placed next to an opened window.I live in Malaysia where during the rainy season the level of humidity is 100% if not more!lol!
