Green worms

herpfood Oct 18, 2003 01:00 PM

Hello all,
Ok, when on occasion I dig up some worms for my various herps I sometimes come across a sickly green one. Now it may just be me, but since a child I thought these worms were near death, or just real sick, lol. Has the worm maybe just ate something very green?

Are they alright to feed to the herps?
Or should I stick with the normal colored earthworms?

Thanks,
Herpfood

Unless you're really certain that these green worms are safe, igore them. It's best not to try it, since wild invertebrates can be very uncertain. Feed only the insects or invertebrates that you're 100% sure to be safe guaranteed for your pet.
