scratch on my leos head = questions

x1angelbabyx Oct 18, 2003 01:20 PM

hi guys

this morning, i noticed that my leo got a new scratch on his head because it wasn't there last night it's nothing big, it's kinda small and it's on his head.

i was wondering if that scratch will be a long-term scar that he'll always have or if it'll come off in the next shedding? he's doing fine, he just likes rubbing up on the walls of his hides for some reason? i don't even know if that's normal... but he does that when he goes in either one of his hides... he likes rubbing his side on the wall while he walks ---> like what my dog does when he walks by my legs... he likes to walk slowly by while his side brushes my legs~ will my leo's scratch heal? thanks!

My blizzard had the same thing. She is housed with another female so I thought it may have been from her. Is yours housed with other geckos? Anyway, the scratch does go away with a couple sheds.
