Spiney and Smooth Hatchling together?

Skiwee10 Oct 18, 2003 06:08 PM

I have a smooth softshell hatchling right now in a 10 gallon tank. I just ordered a spiney hatchling today. Do you think they will be o.k. together?>

They might be for a while but softshell turtles can get rather aggressive with eachother. If you keep them together just be observant and ready to separate them at the first sign of aggressive behavior. You don't want anyone getting hunks of shell bitten off!
