viper eggs

wolf-force Oct 18, 2003 06:59 PM

Look what I found today. I was cleaning the tank a bit and discovered 2 eggs. They were under some dry peat moss I had in the tank. I just got the female viper last week at the chicago show. The guy who sold her to me said he was sure it was a female because she just laid some eggs. I guess she didn't, until now. She seems happy and active with my male viper, eating crickets like crazy.

Congrats. I bought 1.2 vipers about 1 1/2 months ago possibly from the same guy that sold yours. I have six eggs now with four of them already 38 and 39 days old. Hopefully yours and mine will hatch. Good luck. Matt

How long do viper eggs take to hatch? I'm going to florida in 2 months. The timing might not be right.

I have heard anywhere from 40-60 days.
