Mix n Match ... who would you pair with whom?

Sasheena Oct 18, 2003 08:03 PM

Hey guys, It will be a while before all my corns are breeding age, but that doesn't keep me from trying to figure out the best mix. So I'll ignore that it'll be years before they are all old enough to breed. I'm curious which snakes you would pair up with which based on the known info on the snakes:

Hermes ~ Normal striped male possibly het amel
Cupid ~ Reverse Okeetee male
Zeus ~ Snow Motley male, poss het hypo
Athena ~ Anery Striped Female
Hera ~ Anery female poss het hypo, amel, motley
Cassandra ~ Ghost female poss het motley, amel
Aphrodite ~ Normal Miami female def. het motley

So what combinations would you folks put together and why?

Lets see I had to cut and paste them here so I would remember. First of all, I'd do some testing to get all these possible hets out of the way.

I would cross Zues with Hera and Cassandra. This will allow you to find out if indeed Zues is het hypo, if Cassandra is het motley and amel, and if Hera is het amel and motley. If you get ghosts from Cassandra (meaning that Zues is het hypo) you may also find out if Hera is het hypo as well.
I'd also go ahead and keep the stripes together, and I'd get a female R. Okee for Cupid and another Miami het motley or Miami motley for Aphrodite.
IMO

In spring ,just throw them all in a broom closet. lock the door for an hour or so,then cross your fingers and hope for some cool morphs.
