I was wondering whether or not I should poke holes in the container that i will have the eggs in?? I wasnt sure. This is the first time I have tried this method and I think I set it up right.

I do. I like not having to take the lid off the sterilite for air exchange. Just open the cooler now and then take a peak (If your cantainer is clean) and your done. Less heat loss also cause you don't have to fumble around with the lid to get air in. I like hole, but it's your call. Good Luck.
