I Was at the Pumpkin Festival In Circlevill Ohio.
I came across a Mobile arcade in a Half Trailer that folded out into the street. If you check the weather you can see it was only 43 degres Friday the 10'th in Ohio.
When i walked by this little arcade i noticed a Sign that said. "" Live Pet's "". I went to go see what it was , i figured it was gold fish or soemthing. But it was Iguana's.
They were being given away for wining the ticket things out of the games they had inside. And if that wasnt bad enough. All the iguana's were outside. Remember it was only 43 degrese , You could see your breath and it was raining so there was no warming sunlight , and the wind was blowing verry good at the time.
We all had coats on cause we were cold. I couldnt immagine being a iguana in that kind of weather in One of them little plastic -slot vented , Open toped gheco cages. No Lights , No food. And the manager of the attraction - if you want to call it that - was complaining about them dieing to fast. I was going to say something to one of the cops that blocked the street off for the parade , but when i walked farther up to the arcade , i could see who the manager was talking to. And it was a cop that must have been making rounds making sure everything was ok. Or whatever he was doing. What would you do in this situation ?
The cops are standin there , Listening to the guy telling them there dieing to fast and he's makin about Nill for proffet , And there joiking about it with the law.
The only thing i could think of to do was to tell him , loud enough that the cop standing next to him could hear me , that he sould move the lizards out of the cold weather and get some heat lamps off them , or there just going to keep dieing. And i just got waved off with a nod and a "Yeah Yeah , we will".
What else could i do ? It's even colder today and they still had them outside.
Any suggestions ?
