I was wondering what are good temps for a 4-5 month old beardie? My basking temp is around 115 on the right side of the tank and the left side is around 80 to 85 on one self and under it its about 80.It seems like the temps are ok he is active and when he is basking under the light he barely opens his mouth like they do when they are hot.I just built the cage its 4`l x 2`h x 2`w ill get some pics up tommorow when i can get better light cause all i have is a webcam to take pics. thanks steve

If that is a surface reading it should be ok for a young dragon as the dragon gets bigger though you might have to cut the temp slightly. For adults I find a surface temp of 105 will do, and any hotter they will not bask as much. Cage sounds great, and the cool side sounds just right. I keep my cool sides around 80-85 as well.
