Hydration

How do i know if my beardie is well hydrated??
Is there a way to find out?? because i've never seen him drink yet...I put him in his water bowl to soak and all, but i dont know if he drinks on his own..What should i do??

Hi Mike
To see if your beardy is dehydrated, grap a little peace of skin between your fingers and when the skin stays up and doesn't fall back in place then your beardy is dehydrated. I myself give all my beardies to drink with an eyedropper, cause only one of my 4 beardies drinks himself. You can also spray the terrarium but I myself prefer the eyedropper because I'm sure they get a drink this way, they are used to it and as soon as I drop on their nose they start to drink. Succes with it.
