toppy May 28, 2003 06:07 PM

My female honduran just had her pre egg laying shed today.
can anyone tell me if she should lay in the next 10 days or so - Does that sound right? I have a shoe box with about an 1 1/2 " of damp vermiculite ready to go ( I just got the vermiculite wet and squeezed the water out until I couldent get anymore out) Temp on my rack is set @ 80 deg on the hot side with the cooler side of the shoe box @ 77deg. I'd post a picture but I dont want to pick her up - she's tempermental now skidish and pooping watery poop when shes agitated she ate 3 fuzzys the day before she shed should I try to feed her again or wait untill after she lays (If she lays I'm hopefull)
Thanks
Chris

My last milk laid 8 days after shedding but they can lay a few days sooner or later. I don't suggest feeding her until after she has laid. Good luck with everything!
