I just found this on the floor of Jaida, my "stressed" green anole's tank. Is it a round worm? Is Panacur the answer?

I can't recognize the species of this parasite, due to the size of pics. I clicked on your link, but only a small picture of a curving worm appeared. Anyhow, this is not a good news for your herp!
These parasites can be proven harmful, if not, causing death eventually. I never had experiences with my herps gaining parasites, since they're rare if kept properly. It's definitely possible to be a roundworm. It can be rather difficult to destroy their cultures before expansion occurs. Is it possible for you to take your anole to a vet? Also, this might sound like a dumb question, but your anole isn't wild-caught, is it? I'm just making sure.

Well, Tim, I hate to admit it - actually embarassed to - but they are pet store bought. I know, I know... I had just had a major herp loss and was grieving. It was an impulse buy (I was in the store for cat litter) and I saw it as a rescue. I know, I know... I am totally opposed to buying wc (that is my personal stance) and none of my other herps are (well, not sure about a gecko who truly was rescued). I have owned anoles before and I have been stressing over Jaida right from the beginning. Please no reprimanding as it won't do me, or Jaida, any good.
I am bringing this "thing" to the vet tomorrow and a feces IF I can find one! She is separate from the others so at least I know it is her poop. thanks,
lele

You're doing the right thing... the vet will know what to use and I hope and think the anole will be okay
