I just found this on the floor of Jaida, my "stressed" green anole's tank. Is it a round worm? Is Panacur the answer?

Hi Lele,
I did a search in Google for pictures of roundworms and that one looks a little "short" to be a roundworm... How long is it? Could it have come from somewhere other than the anole's feces, such as a plant?
Julie
Hi Julie,
Funny, that's what someone else said - a baby earthworm. That is unlikely b/c I totally clean and repot any plant I buy and I looked at it with a handlens and it doesn't look like an earthworm. It is about 1/2" long. Now this came from an anole not a cham. I posted here b/c I know many of you keep other herps and are experienced in different areas. I am wondering if they come from crickets? Maybe I will get panacur and just treat all three of them.
thanks,
lele
p.s. when you did the google search did you see that disgusting picture of the child and the roundworms? I wanted to puke -

WHAY CAN'T I GET AWAY FROM THAT PIC?
It keeps popping up when ever I do research on parasites!!!
Lele, I officially hate you for posting that pic...
(I'm kidding)
I can stand to look at NEARLY anything. I've dissected lots of animals, seen lots of gross things...
The one thing I cannot look at at pics of parasites "in action" or of maggots eating something...
There is an even worse pic of ascaris worms...one of a poor kid(who looks as if he was killed by the infestation) with the worms coming out his NOSE. they had apparantly started to migrate UPthe digestive tract.
Another HORRIBLE shot was in the documentry "supercroc", in which they stuck a camera in the stomach of a live crocodile. It's stomach was TOTALLY lined with roundworms--absolutly terrifing.
