After nearly seven years of working with my group of Papuan Pythons....SUCCESS! I have wittnessed and photographed copulations for two years, but have never been rewarded with eggs...this is the year! I can see and feel the eggs in her abdomen. She has completed her "pre-lay shed" and is a week or two from egg-laying. I will be sure to take tons of pictures and share any info with anyone who is interested in these rare beauties!

opposed to prior years? When did you start cooling this year as it seems very early to be having copulations and eggs. What is your breeding group composed of and any guestimates on how old your gravid female is? I am interested in any data you may have since I am about to start my cycling for my 1.2 breeders. I may even try to see if my other male may give it a go this year. He is about 8-9 feet and is really a nice clean animal that would make some stunning babies. Great news and please don't be afraid to send me any and all data you may have to my email address of junglecarpetpython@hotmail.com. I swore I had one of my females gravid last year and she fooled me. I wish you the best and would be interested in one of the babies. Frank Kincade.

Lots of talk about this and that producing. Papuans producing is a very rare and special treat. My fingers are crossed for you.
