Look in the picture below, right next to where the anole's elbow is pointing & you can see a tiny lump. What could this be???

OMFG WHY ARE YOU HANDLING YOUR ANOLES!!!!!

kidding.

Well..I'm sure it's a tumor. Everything can get a tumor. Even plants. If it is a lump, and it's growing out of nowhere, then I really have no lue what else it could be. No telling if it's hazardous to its health either.

A tumor? This is rather common, but if this tumor gets bigger, it's definitely not a good news. One of the fellows who posted in this forum a while ago had an anole with a small tumor, and later, it grew larger and grotesque-looking. This abscess had a nasty and deadly bacterial infection. A few days later, the anole died. You can read the article and see the pictures of this infected anole here. Scroll down to see photos of anoles with abscess and read the articles to see what happened.

lol, I thought you were serious for a minute there before I scrolled down, I was rolling my eyes... Anyway, his lump has not grown since I noticed it so hopefully it will be harmless to him.

Well, that's a good news. Inform us if anything unusual happens.
