>>I'll have to see what I did wrong, but I thought I cut and pasted the correct links. I did post the pics in the photo gallery under chelonians if anybody has time to take a quick peek (there should be four pics saying I will get back to everybody (unless it's just my computer that is not picking up on the pics?). Thanks, Chris
Photos didn't post as you used the wrong url to link to. You were trying to link to the entire page on the photo gallery where each of the photos was housed on rather than linking directly to the photo itself. It can be thought of in terms of you were linking to the folder holding your pictures hence no pictures will show up in the forum posting because it's not a picture at all.
Example:
link you used:
http://gallery.pethobbyist.com/index.pl?photo=106205
link of the actual photo you were trying to post: http://gallery.pethobbyist.com/data/15772turtle4-med.JPG
If you are going to be posting one photo at a time per post and are using photos from the photo gallery, it's easier to not use cut/paste method at all. Instead when composing your message look at the bottom of the screen right above the button you would normally hit to post the message...there is an area called "select image from photo gallery". When posting messages you can select any image you have in your personal photo gallery to imbedd into your message by scrolling through your list. (this sometimes gets cumbersome if all of your photo files are just letters/numbers from say a digital camera that you forget rename to something easy to remember and/or forget to title your photo submission right before uploading them to the gallery).
I will post the correct links for your photos on the other parts of this thread.
