mizar 21 May 28, 2003 07:39 PM

Now my 12 inch fasciata is in a 15 gallon, but i have 33 gallon waiting for him . When should i change him ? Does a 33 gallon (36wide, 18high and 12deep) is big enough for an adult Fasciata ? Thx

Everything depends on size. Small male water snakes can be like only 1.5 or 2 ft in which case a smaller tank would work. Big females can hit over 5 ft which a 55 gal or larger would be good. I kept some small blotched in a 75 gal I have but the small male confluens I have had for a few years is fine in a 20 gallon (he is only about 18 inches or so). Andy
