I used this once for a bearded dragon cage, although the doors opened sideways instead of up and down.
There is a risk of their claws becomeing stuck in too fine a screen (such as window screen) so I used 1/8" welded wire. Extremely small prey items could escape but this should be a non-issue for an adult or subadult Bearded.
thanks but will it hurt them to rub up against it
Good question. I did not have any trouble with the pair I kept in mine. The cage was in use for several years with a friend I gave it too and he also did not have any trouble.
Only trouble he had was when he put a D'alberts python in the cage. It struck at him one day and it's teeth became tangled in the wire screen.
thanks for your help isee you are on here a lot. the screen should work with the leopards geckos and the BD as long i keep her well fed( she goes crazy at the sight of live food)the BD that is
