old age

can u tell if a snake is going to pass away from old age? i have a old albino male who i got as a rescue and wasnt eating,i got him eating very well (mediun rats) and he put his weight back on ,now within the last 3 weeks he stoped eating and just lays around his tank as if hes got nothing left in him,hes not in shed , or could it because its the time of year to get laid? hes like 5 and a half foot long and i think he was born in 96 or 97. well thanks for any reponses in advance

A 6- or 7- year old corn isn't going to be dying of old age soon. They can live 15 . It could be the season. I wouldn't be worried unless he's losing weight.
