maximum time for a female to "hold" eggs? Help!

dove May 28, 2003 08:07 PM

how long can a female be gravid without threat of egg-bound?

i read/heard somewhere that they can be safely gravid for the same amount of time it takes to incubate the eggs...i.e. 45-60 days.

can anyone verify or deny that?

i have two females that are STILL gravid...just wondering when i should get really worried.

the picture is of one of the females in question. she was already starting to show eggs then... April 19th

thanks
Dove
