As yall prob know i'm bout to get my Gecko and i just figured it would be best to possibly feed my Gecko live Crickets...But i dunno where to find some and i dunno if the pet store carries them or not but anyways. If i did get live Crickets i wanted to know from yall what you would house them in?

if you get a few at a time, there are 'kritter keepers' in the pet store with two long black tubes entering from the side. these you can find at petsmart, petco, etc. at those pet stores, they also sell "cricket corals" but i heard they can eat through the cardboard tubes.

if you get a bunch at a time, you can get a little tank (3-5 gal) with an egg carton for housing. use a tight mesh screen cover for the top

be sure to gutload before you feed them! take care and good luck with your leos

I house mine in large pickle jars w/ holes puched in the lids. I keep tiolet paper tubes in there for them to hide in & gutload of course. Probably not the greatest setup, but it works for me. I only keep 1-3 dozen crix at a time in 1-2 jars.
