20" x 17" is not big enough to house 1 adult Ball in..
I would also like to add that keeping more than 1 Ball in a tank will most likely lead to problems down the road.
Please elaborate on the problems that can occur with housing more than one ball in the same unit.
Thanks
JG

This isn't an IT forum. Please save the RTFM posts for the big ego sites. If you're going to spend the time to reply at least use your vast knowledge to educate, not castigate. There will always be redundant questions asked when discussing this type of subject.
Now.. ahem..
One reason not to house bp's together: the animals can more readily transmit disease and/or parasites to one another.
Thanks for the reply. There are always smart mouths on all forums and they should start their own. When someone looks for help they don't need to read 17 others post theat people are arguing back and forth with each other. We're here to learn and be better keepers of our snakes, please consider your remards because we all had to start out know very little. Some of you have been doing this for years as a hobby and a business so you shouldd be more considerate of those of us that don't know as much. Those that respond to questions thanks those that want to complain please keep it to youorself. Thanks for the space

Do you ever reference anything but your precious IT career? Woopity-doo for you, you're a tecchie. So are half of the other people on this site.
Not for a Ball Python. LOL!
And 20x17 is not even close to the floor space you need. That cage is suitable for a Green Tree or an Emmie, but not a Ball Python.

Maybe I should have been more specific.
The dimensions were for the rack, not a tank. The rack holds 32 quart tubs.
The rack itself is 17" W x 24" D x 36" H. The unit holds 5 Sterilite boxes that are 32-quart units and measure 16.5" W x 23.5" D x 6" H.
But for adult Ball Pythons, one side should be at least 30-36".
Thats the same size that I've been housing my BP's in for about the past 4 years. They feed well, they breed well and shed just fine and yes, they are full grown adults. I know a lot of people think this size is too small, I wish I had some bigger racks myself and plan on building some this winter. But the snakes don't seem to know they are in too small quarters and are doing just fine.
