I heard this is the safest substrate to use for your beardie... Can anyone post up a picture of what it looks like so I have an idea?

i use it for all my guys, i do use a half and half set up however, half bran where they sleep, bask etc, and the other half is shelf liners, its where they eat and poop, it just makes for such easy cleanup and keeps things looking great

K, thanks. is it easy to clean out poo with that substrate tho??
the poop just clumps up like scooping kitty litter. i do however keep half the enclosure in bran and the other half in a shelf liner, thats where they poop, just wipe it up and voilla...keeps things nice and clean

It cleans up really easy. Since it's SOOO cheap when they poop in it, I just grab some paper towel and grab a chunk of bran around the mess. Depending on the size of the mess I grab anywhere between a golf ball and baseball sized chunk. Pretty nice I think. BTW for reference I normally buy a 10# bag for $2.50. This fills my 40 gallon tank about 3 inches high. But I recently found that (at the same place) I can get a 50# bag for like 7 or 10 dollars. That ought to go quite a long way. (I just hope I don't knock it over!)
K thanks guys =)
