hello again everyone- i'm sorry i've been really busy lately but i need some help.

i have a 19 inch 490 gram male dragon and a 14.5 inch 291 gram female dragon. both were purchased from different breeders at about the same time and are 1 year and 9 months old. yes i know the female is small.

today they got set on the floor real quik and the male got fired up and started head bobbing, the girl then started waving and slowely bobbing too. i know that what the girl did was a sign of submission and i'm wondering if she would be ok to breed?
then after the male started trying to chase her i grabbed him and put them back in their own tanks. would there be any problems in letting them breed? i don't want my girl to die.

what is the average first clutch size?

can anyone help me get some info on proper baby care for after they hatch? thanx for any and all help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just my opinion, i wouldnt breed a female that small, good breeder traits are strong, healthy, robust, large adults, just my opinion however, 16 inches and 350 grams to me is a very small female to be considered for breeding. your female in my opinion is far too small. she does sound considerably smaller then him also, it could be hard on her not only to breed but for her small body to be gravid. right now also is the time where most breeders are cooling their breeders, breeding time is in the springtime mostly, have these dragons brumated this winter? not sure this helps or not, just my opinon, i am not a breeder, but have given a lot of thought to it and only the biggest healthiest adults would make the cut.

Personally I wouldn't breed her. Not only is she small in length, but your male is a whole lot bigger than her and things might get rough, etc.

Also, you would have problems selling the babies if people knew the mother was that small. People are looking for larger dragons now, due to the mass quantities of small dragons available today!

My opinion
