I have used Reptariums to house cresteds and perfer them over any other cage for arboreal geckos. A 22 or 38 gallon Reptarium oriented the tall way is the perfect size and shape for either a single gecko or a small breeding group. the mesh walls provide great ventilation as well as a perfect climbing surface for your geckos. Reptariums are also very easy to clean inexpensive. I highly recommend these cages for housing cresteds.

What about the mess crested geckos make? Won't they go through the mesh and get stuck to walls, carpets, etc?

The great thing about reptariums is that you can remove the mesh cover and throw it in the washing machine on the gentle cycle. The PVC frame can be easily wiped clean with a sponge. It's really much easier than cleaning out a large aquarium.

Theyre very hard to clean. Your going to need a scrub brush to scrape the mess off.
